It was my mom's 70th birthday yesterday, 16th of September and it was our wish to spend it festively if not lavishly. However, we found out that our relatives from the States where coming over and has planned a party of their own. Still everything went well...our mother spent her 70th with people who mattered to her all those years ... her family ... and although some of our relatives were not able to attend. They made their presence felt through the text messages and phone calls she received that day.
