In my family the month of September gives us 4 reasons to remember and 3 occasions to gather. My previous blog mentions my sister’s birthday which was celebrated on the 7th, my eldest and only daughter celebrates her 10th birthday tomorrow, the 15th while my mom, Vide and sister-in-law Cindy celebrates theirs the next day, the 16th. I have not decided on how to celebrate my daughter’s birthday – originally, we planned to celebrate it at McDonald’s, but she decided against it. Then earlier today she said that since she is new in school she wanted to just have food brought to share with her classmates. Hmmmm…already my daughter is exercising her rights in decision making. Not bad for a soon-to-be 10 year old, 12 hours away from the exact hour.
