More on President Obama...

Hi! am back I just can't postpone this ... I won't be able to do any blogging entries or have time to drop entrecards as today is the start of my work week. So to continue, as I was listening to the newly elected President Obama’s speech yesterday, I felt that he could well be the United States' most influential leader. However, with the crisis that he has to attend to, not only will he feel the strain of putting America back at its feet but he would also have to face the close scrutiny of those who did not vote for him plus give or take 6.7 billion of the world’s population. He was a very popular choice not only in America but all over the world. This is the first time I have ever been interested in another country’s President and you would be amazed at the things he has accomplished (I read this at Wikipedia). I was even telling Ria of It’s my Party and I’ll cry if I want to, that President elect Barack Obama came at a time when his country was at its lowest, America needs change they say. Reflecting on this made me think of my own country, if American needs change, then my country needs overhauling!

"Little Beach"

I heard on the news today how other countries hailed the victory of Obama as the 44th President of the United States. I listened to his speech and was quite emotional it seems that people from all over the world has been waiting for this historical event. Obama's being voted President is a welcome change in the life of the American people and evidently the whole world. I am not an American, I was born in the Philippines and yet felt as if I had casted my own vote. Congratulations to President Obama, his family and to the American people! I still have something to add to this but because it is late I have to take my forty winks but will be back tomorrow...
